Hi, I'm Sarah, I have been cutting and colouring hair since 2008. I am based near Polegate, inbetween Brighton & Eastbourne in East Sussex. 

I started my career as an apprentice hairstylist, once qualified with a little experience under my belt, I moved on to work for myself.
Then, in 2012 I opened my own salon 'The Hair Company - Lewes', a charming, boutique space on Market Street. This was a busy, professional salon gaining national recognition by being listed in Tatler Magazines 'Good Salon Guide'. 

In 2018 I had my first of three children and I made the decision to focus on family so The Hair Company sadly closed.

Although I now have a family, I have continued as an independent stylist. I enjoy taking time to learn new techniques as the industry naturally evolves while working around being a mum.

I love being a hairstylist and making my clients feel confident. My style of hairdressing is to make your hair easier for you to manage at home, and for colour to be soft and blended. I always start your appointment with a thorough consultation to make sure you get what you want from your time with me. 

I have been producing soft and blended colour for years, and the natural transition has been into 'Grey Blending'. Blending harshly coloured tinted grey roots into a seamless, soft colour that is effortless and does not require monthly trips to the salon.
